Display: A stunning 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen


The Realme 12 Pro+ will sport a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, according to a leak by @DigitalChatStation on Twitter. The display will also have a 120Hz refresh rate, a centre punch hole for the selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The screen will be supplied by BOE, a Chinese display manufacturer.

Camera: A versatile triple rear camera setup


The Realme 12 Pro+ will feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor (Sony IMX890), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens (OmniVision OV64B) with 3x optical zoom. The primary sensor will support dual pixel autofocus, HDR, and 4K video recording at 60fps. The ultra-wide-angle lens will have a 120-degree field of view and support macro photography. The telephoto lens will enable hybrid zoom up to 30x and support optical image stabilization.

The front camera will be a 32MP shooter that will support face unlock, portrait mode, and 1080p video recording at 30fps.

Performance: A powerful Snapdragon chipset and Realme UI 5.0


The Realme 12 Pro+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7Gen 3 chipset, which is expected to be announced in late 2023. The chipset will be based on a 5nm process and offer improved performance and efficiency over the previous generation. The Realme 12 Pro+ will also come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The device will run on Realme UI 5.0, which will be based on Android 14. The software will offer a smooth and customizable user experience, with features like dark mode, smart sidebar, game space, and more. The Realme 12 Pro+ will also receive two major Android updates and three years of security patches, as per the company's promise.

Battery: A large battery with fast charging support


The Realme 12 Pro+ will pack a 5000mAh battery that will support fast charging via USB Type-C port. The device will also support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, as per the leaks. The exact wattage of the fast charging technology is not known yet, but it is likely to be higher than the previous generation's 65W SuperDart Charge.
